Why we started

Wexley Metabolic began in 2019 with a frustration shared by two siblings. One of us is a registered dietitian who spent years explaining to clients that gut health and weight are deeply connected. The other is a software engineer who reads labels the way he reads code: he wants to see every value, and he distrusts anything hidden behind a vague "proprietary blend." When we went looking for a gut-focused metabolism supplement we could both stand behind, we kept hitting the same walls. Either the dose was a secret, the formula leaned on stimulants, or there was no way to know what was actually in the bottle.

So we built the product we wanted. SlimTide is intentionally simple: two prebiotic fibers and a three-strain probiotic blend, each listed with its amount, in one vegetarian capsule a day. No caffeine, no filler theater, no mystery.

We made an early decision not to sell SlimTide on Amazon, eBay, or in retail stores. It would have been easier to list everywhere, but it would also have made the product impossible to protect. When a supplement floats around open marketplaces, you cannot tell which batch a buyer received, whether it was stored correctly, or whether the listing is even real. By keeping distribution to this one authorized portal, we can tie every order to a specific, lab-screened batch and stand behind it.
